Cherry Family Reunion

Every summer, my family spends one week in Cannon Beach, Oregon at the Cannon Beach Christian Conference Center.  We enjoy the beautiful Oregon coast, time together as a family, no cooking or cleaning, great teaching from the speaker at the conference center, and time to rest and have fun.  It is one of our favorite vacations- physical and spiritual rest and refreshment as a family.  Here are a few highlights from our trip this year...

Great teaching all week from Luis Palau! He spoke about imitating the life of Paul, who imitated Christ.  We came home encouraged and challenged.

The Cherry Family! Those silly little boys decided to make faces instead of smile.  Oh well. They're still cute!

Our nephew Daniel enjoyed exploring the tide pools near Haystack Rock.

The weather was cool and cloudy most of the time, but we had a few sunny afternoons...perfect for walks on the beach.

Why walk when you can ride on Uncle Jeremy's shoulders?  Our nephew John never missed an opportunity for a ride.

We had to visit and hike around one of our favorite places in Cannon Beach- Ecola State Park.

Kodiak 100-Hour Inspection

Since Spokane Turbine Center's training is now done until August, Jeremy and Ken have been conducting the Kodiak's 100-hour inspection.  This inspection must be completed in order to continue using the aircraft for training.  They have been putting in long hours for over a week and need to have it completed by Friday, July 6 so that the plane can be used by Quest Aircraft Company for training during the month of July.  Pray that they will be able to continue to think clearly and remember all the little details in order for it to be done well and to be finished on time.  Thank you!
