A little over two weeks ago, Jeremy and I celebrated our first anniversary! It is so hard to believe that a year has already gone by. It has been a fun and exciting year and every day just keeps getting better! We are grateful for the Lord's many blessings, and we look forward to many, many more anniversaries to come!
To celebrate our anniversary, we went to the San Juan Islands in western Washington. For our honeymoon, we had stayed on Orcas Island, so this time we decided to stay on San Juan Island at Friday Harbor. We enjoyed driving around the island, going for walks/hikes/runs, reading, drinking coffee while watching the ferries come in and out of the harbor, and time just to be together, away from the business of everyday life.

"For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from where every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and i Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen."
-Ephesians 3:14-21
It was a blessing last week being able to catch up some with you Jeremy there at STC. Thanks for letting me use the lounge area to eat my lunch. It was a real bummer, though, not seeing you, Jodie, during my brief visit. Hopefully, we will be able to see you again at the EAA.
